Starting there can give you a clearer foundation for the work you will do in Stage 2.

In Get Your First Paying Customers, you will begin turning your chosen opportunity into something more practical and commercially grounded.

You will work through how to:

• identify the customers you could help;

• understand the problem they may be willing to pay you to solve;

• shape a focused offer;

• explain and communicate that offer clearly;

• decide on an initial price;

• reach potential customers;

• ask for the sale;

• deliver your offer; and

• learn from real-world feedback and results.

The aim is not simply to create an idea that sounds promising.

The aim is to help you gather evidence, learn from real customers and make informed decisions about what is worth developing further.

This programme has been designed to give you time to learn, reflect and apply what you discover.

One new module will be released every 48 hours.

This is intentional. The course is designed to be worked through and applied, rather than rushed through as quickly as possible.

Giving yourself time between lessons allows you to reflect, complete the exercises, make decisions and test your thinking in the real world before moving on.

You can return to material already released whenever you wish and progress at a pace that suits your circumstances.

As you work through the programme, we recommend that you:

• set aside focused time for each lesson and its exercises;

• keep a record of your ideas, observations, decisions and progress;

• complete the practical activities rather than rushing ahead;

• test your assumptions with real potential customers wherever the course asks you to do so;

• return to earlier lessons whenever you need to reconsider or refine your decisions; and

• recognise the progress you are making, including the smaller decisions that help you move forward.

Remember, this is your learning journey. There is no need to rush or have everything worked out before you begin.
